Duties

What will I do in this position if hired? Stakeholder Relations- Private Sector - The ideal candidate will support resilience priorities for the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act implementation as a writer/editor within FEMA Region 3 External Affair. The ideal candidate will have skills to review the content of documents for clarity and length and organizes the material structurally in terms of the order of sentences, paragraphs, sections, and findings to improve the presentation. Qualifications

To qualify for thisPublic Affairs Specialist position at the IC-12 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-11 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following: Creating, writing, or editing communication products including newsletters, presentations, factsheets or graphics; Planning or developing of communication plans, strategies and/or projects including written or visual tools; and Supporting the execution of events that build partnerships with internal or external stakeholders. To qualify for thisPublic Affairs Specialist position at the IC-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the Federal or Private Sector and must demonstrate all of the following: Leading the planning and developing communication plans, strategies and/or projects including writing or visual tools; Analyzing and interpreting important agency policies and programs into actionable communications for stakeholders and/or visual and writing products; and Executing of events that build partnerships with internal or external stakeholders.
