This position is located in the Capital Projects and Facilities Management Division of the District of Columbia Court and is designed to perform a variety of assignments relative to the repair and improvement of the Courts facilities.

  • All eligible DC Courts Employees (refer to Policies 0210 and 0200).

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED certificate plus four (4) years of experience in general maintenance and repair techniques such as masonry and cement finishing, carpentry, and tile setting.  The incumbent must be licensed to operate a DC Courts' vehicle, and must be able to participate in a rotating, on-call duties, scheduled overtime, and emergency support as needed.  The incumbent should be an enthusiastic and engaged professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of Court personnel and customers and lives the DC Courts’ values of Accountability, Excellence, Fairness, Integrity, Respect, and Transparency.
