About the Position: Incumbent will function as a Database Administrator, Data Analytics, contracting point of contact and application programmer for the Directorate of Information Management (DOIM), Pine Bluff Arsenal (PBA).

Duties

Provide technical support for Oracle, or SQL Server database applications. Evaluate hardware/software capabilities to satisfy automation needs. Work with customers to develop software when existing software cannot be modified. Coordinate system changes with functional users. Coordinate with Information System Security Manager (ISSM), and customers on ensuring all servers assigned, databases and applications are patched and have the latest Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) applied. Serve as the backup to the Oracle administrator.

Requirements

• Appointment This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
• Pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health - ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
• This position has a requirement to lift up to 45 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
• Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
• This position requires that you obtain and maintain  COMPTIA Security+ within 6 months of hire.
