You will serve as a SUPERVISORY MAINENANCE MANAGER in the Facility and Infrastructure Management Department of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Duties
You will develop and administer a repair facility audit surveillance program (which includes all aspects of the lifting and handling program) to identify and correct program weaknesses and improve production work quality.
You will coordinate and conduct meetings for Facility Maintenance Division customers to verify mission objectives are being met.
You will establish review systems (e.g., metrics timeline, control measures) for the organization to meet maintenance program mission, goals, and objectives.
You will arbitrate or resolve controversies that arise from within the Branch or with personnel from other organizations.
You will determine long- and short-range needs for resources such as manpower, materials, equipment, and staff support for the duration of a project.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Manage Assignments by identifying, distributing and balancing workload among employees. 2) Conduct analysis of problems resulting from the various programs designed to provide comprehensive asset management solutions and optimum service in maintaining plan equipment, production equipment, production equipment, utilities and facilities. 3) Establish and submit multi-year and long-range planning goals to branch head for approval. 4) Provide one-on-one instruction or training to subordinate employees in proper work methods, work documents, labor transactions and safe practices. 5) Investigate delays, determine cause and reprioritize work based on analysis of cause and effect.
