Duties
Provide information on the use of facility equipment, hours of operation, and general guidelines regarding the facility and its operations to authorized patrons. Ensures adherence to regulations and safety procedures. Monitors and checks the security of premises. This position requires the ability to work at other Semper Fit Department facilities as needed. Collateral Semper Fit work locations include but are not limited to the; 50M Pool, Golf Course, Party/Adventure Recreational Center (PARC), Bob Hope Theater, etc. Cross training will be provided accordingly. Hours for this position vary and each work location will have various shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays. Shift differential pay will be appropriately applied.

Qualifications
¿ High school diploma or GED required. ¿ Six months of experience in the assigned recreational activity is desired but not required. ¿ First Aid/CPR/AED certification is preferred but not required. ¿ Skill to learn MCCS and Semper Fit policies, rules and regulations.¿ Ability to communicate efficiently orally and in writing. ¿ Knowledge of basic mathematics. ¿ Basic computer and/or cash register comprehension and knowledge. ¿ This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
