This position is located within the Department of Justice (DOJ), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Office of the Administrator.
This position serves as a Senior Advisor in the Office of the Administrator. The incumbent serves as a close, confidential advisor to and representative of the Administrator.

As a Senior Advisor you will:
Coordinate and drive enterprise-wide projects and initiatives that align with DEA priorities and objectives.
Assist in the development and review of policy proposals.
Perform legal analysis, research, and writing on criminal, civil, and administrative law issues.
Work closely with the Administrator and staff in the preparation of final documents issued by the Administrator, among other duties.
Practice in the Drug Enforcement, Criminal Law, and Administrative Law area.
Requirements

Qualifications
Applicants must have a J.D. degree, be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction) and have at least 3 years post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience.
