Duties
Serves as manager for assigned materials. Maintains accounting and reporting systems for federal property and performs routine phases of material accountability
Reviews justification and approves issues for emergency requests. Processes requests for issues that are not automatically processed using STAMIS interactive process
Manages and reviews supply transactions based on dollar limitations, status of Obligation Authority (OA), status of consumer funds and verifying with requisitioning activity.
Is responsible for managing the DOD Activity Address File (DODAAF) to include additions, changes and deletions.
Maintains contacts with customers for critical shortages.
Drafts correspondence pertaining to individual transactions or stock numbers for assigned materials.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

- This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard.
- Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.

- This position is INDEFINITE NTE 24 months, with possible extension up to 60 months, and permanent potential.
- This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968.
- Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.

MILITARY GRADES: E3 through E5
COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: 92A, 92Y
The policy to have a compatible MOS/AFSC has been suspended. When reinstated, you will have one year to meet the qualifications of this position or meet the requirements in the guidance set by NGB.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in a variety of operations or situations concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 12 months experience, education, or training which demonstrates governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment. Experience conducting searches for required information; reconstruct records for supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, and parts. Experience performing various aspects of supply specialist work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures, where assignments include individual case problems related to segments in one or more major areas of supply management. Experience which required person-to-person contacts to convey information and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc. At least 12 months specialized equivalent experience to the next lower grade level.

The Human Resources Officer (HRO) is the final approval for all ETP waivers. If approved, the memorandum will be returned to you and then submitted with your application.
Education
You may combine education with specialized experience to meet the length of experience requirement for GS-07. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.
To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
