As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Serves as the Technical Operations District Manager for the Cleveland or Houston District.

Duties

Directs a highly technical and diverse workforce in ensuring the effective maintenance and repair of National Airspace System (NAS) equipment and facilities. Incumbent will have day-to-day direction over 3-5 subordinate managers as well as functionally integrated teams of operational and support personnel.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
  • A one-year supervisory/managerial probationary period may be required.
  • Some, all or none of the eligible and qualified applicants may be interviewed.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-K or FG/GS-15 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience includes: Directing work of subordinate employees and/or managers for multiple organizational units/projects/programs and across multiple functions and disciplines; leading an effective workforce that achieves organizational-wide goals in concurrence with the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) principles.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
