Duties
You will serve as Logistics Management Specialist for the Army Field Support Battalion (AFSBn) and Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) - Modernization, Displacement and Repair Site (MDRS) Division.
You will be responsible for analysis of installation wide logistics readiness posture in terms of equipment status, supply support capabilities, and regulatory policy and guidance necessary to achieve the highest level of readiness.
You will provide guidance in improving readiness and logistics support effectiveness.
You will utilize multi-functional and technical knowledge of the various logistical systems to integrate the MDRS functions and support to facilitate production in support of the mission of divestiture of the excess equipment received.
You will determine deficiencies in the logistics chain which affect optimum readiness.
Requirements

- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting analysis of logistical programs and operations; providing advice or alternate course of action to resolve logistical issues; and providing recommendations to improve logistical procedures or policies for maintenance, supply, and transportation operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
