You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in the Public Works Department of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH.
Duties
You will serve as the primary representative of NAVFAC Washington to Supported Commands and meet regularly with client personnel to discuss short and long-range facility assessment, restoration and modernization planning.
You will establish goals and major work schedules for Facility Operations Specialists to accomplish proposed work projects within deadlines and must consider the availability of all resources.
You will submit budget requirements for installation sustainment, restoration, and modernization while taking into account future plans, labor costs, training, and other overhead requirements.
You will develop recommendations for improvements by considering optimum use of business practices, work sequences, personnel skill, and equipment/facilities utilization and replacement.
You will implement improvements and cost savings in operational and overhead methods and procedures after approval from the Facility Management Division Director.

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- This position is considered Key/Emergency-Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support to ensure the success of combat operations or the availability of combat-essential systems.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: 1) Supervising a diverse team of professional and technical personnel providing facilities management work and services and support the Commands Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Program; 2) Providing leadership in the processing and routing of customer work requests for all products and services at the Public Works Department to include cost estimates, engineering services, and planning services; 3) Performing facility inspections, validating and updating a facilities inventory, and creating facility sustainment plans using Infrastructure Condition Assessment Program (ICAP) and Condition Based Maintenance Management (CBMM) programs; 4) Coordinating and partnering with customers to identify and prioritize all facility and utility requirements to include development, restoration and modernization of real property.
