Joining the Secret Service, Office of Training, James J. Rowley Training Center (RTC) will allow you to play an integral part in providing oversight on logistic matters responsible for managing, coordinating, and controlling the equipment, supply, and vehicle fleet inventory at RTC. Your work will help to ensure the coordination of vehicle fleet and supply management programs and to support the overall missions of the Secret Service. Duties

The selectee will serve as a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist in the Office of Training, Rowley Training Center. Typical work assignments include: Accounting for inventory and equipment, including managing acquisition, distribution, retention, disposal and consumption of resources. Procuring equipment and supplies in line with budgets, regulations and agency policies. Directing the allocation of personal and divisional property to support business operations and training needs. Coordinating the vehicle fleet management program to acquire, maintain and dispose of inventory. Communicating expert technical advice, guidance and recommendations to supervisors, program managers and specialists to direct progress toward agency goals.

Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Specialized Experience requirements as noted below. You qualify for the GS-14 level (starting salary $132,368.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-13 level performing the following duties: Analyzing inventory management programs to recommend cost-saving measures for the organization; Participating in the strategic development of a high-performance workforce through talent evaluation, performance management and training needs assessment; and Preparing reports of budgets and inventories to facilitate the management of current and future resources.
