Duties

You will determine how a security system should work, including its resilience and dependability capabilities, and how changes in conditions, operations, or the environment will affect these outcomes. You will provide systems analysis and cyber capability development support to assist in the development of cybersecurity strategy and policy, ideation, resource strategy formation, program and project planning, execution of development efforts. You will translate technology and environmental conditions (e.g., laws, regulations, best practices) into system and security designs and processes. You will integrate multiple systems into a holistic design. You will execute advanced cyber capability development projects in support of USCYBERCOM and Navy Cyber efforts to develop and operate The Joint Cyber Warfighter Architecture (JCWA) which is the future platform for DoD cyber operations.

Requirements

• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing IT support for projects involving cybersecurity design, installation, assessment/audit, system hardening, and risk mitigation.
