This position is part of the Defense Media Activity. The incumbent will be responsible for Serving as the Supply Management Officer for DMA Management Support Office (MSO) - Riverside. DMA is engaged in ongoing transformation activities. As such, this position may relocate to Fort Meade, Tobyhanna Army Depot or other DMA locations worldwide. The incumbent will be offered relocation assistance in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulation, Chapter 5, Part F.

Duties

As a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT OFFICER at the GS-2003-11 some of your typical work assignments may include: Serves as the primary Government Purchase Cardholder (GPC) for AFN Broadcast Center. Administers and manages a Self Service Supply Store for AFN Broadcast Center personnel. Determines and implements issue procedures for office supplies. Oversees AFN Broadcast Center GSA Fleet Management Program. Develops and maintains local procedures for AFN Broadcast Center Fleet Management Program in accordance with DoD, GSA, and OMA guidance. Assist AFN Broadcast Center Property Book Officer with disposition requirements in accordance with DoD, DLA, and state guidance. Process BPA invoices for acceptance/payment in Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF).

Qualifications

You may qualify at the GS-11, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service: Dispatching vehicles, maintenance scheduling, accident reporting, and fuel card use of a Fleet Management Program; Accepting, cataloging, inventory, and final disposition of accountable property in an organizational accountability property program; Contracting and procurement methods and procedures; Processing purchase orders, utilization of a multitude of contract vehicles to procure supplies and services, and surveillance of contracts. OR B. Education Substitution: I have successfully completed a Ph.D. or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related. Advanced training in a vocational school, technical institute, or art institute above the high school level in one of the fields listed above is creditable as general experience on a month-for-month basis. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge skills and abilities necessary to do the work. Education must be from a college or university accredited by an organization approved by the U.S. Department of Education. See http://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/Search.aspx. If using education to meet basic qualifications, YOU MUST SUBMIT A TRANSCRIPT as supplemental documentation. OR ??????? C. You have some specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and you have more than one year but less than two years of education as described in B. You have computed the percentage of the requirements that you meet, and the total is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.) Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours that your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study. Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis. If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.

FOREIGN EDUCATION may be qualifying if a private organization specializing in interpreting foreign education programs has deemed the foreign education equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program or a U.S. accredited college or university has given full credit for the foreign courses.

Unofficial transcripts from U.S. Department of Education accredited colleges, universities, schools, or institutions listing your name, the name of the school, the date and degree awarded, and the list of classes and credits earned are acceptable for the application process. If selected, official transcripts are required before a firm job offer is made. A photocopy of your degree/diploma is not acceptable.

When relying on foreign education, submit transcripts and a copy of the equivalency evaluation results letter with a course-by-course listing.
