About the Position: This position is located in the Strategic Transformation Office. The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Armaments Center is the Army's technology leader and largest technology developer. DEVCOM AC ensures the dominance of Army capabilities by creating, integrating and delivering technology-enabled solutions to our Soldiers. DEVCOM AC is a major subordinate command of the U.S. Army Futures Command.
Duties
Serve as Combat Capabilities Dev Command Property Book Officer or Assistant Property Book Officer performing duties associated with administration of full range property management IAW Army property management, associated statutory DoD guidelines.
Responsible for the administration and maintenance of Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A) and related property accountability automated systems, records and operations.
Develop and communicate supplemental organizational policies and procedures for property accountability operations in accordance with regulations, directives and issuances from higher headquarters. Provide technical guidance and training to staff.
Perform inventories, investigations, inspections and system(s) analysis to ensure procedure and accountability compliance.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 15% of the time.
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Moving expenses are not authorized for this position.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Performing duties as an organization's Property Book Officer; AND 2) Utilizing an automated system for managing supply and property accountability; AND 3) Resolving issues related to supply and property accountability; AND 4) Collaborating with various stakeholders. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE-02/GS-11).
