• This position entails working occasional overtime on weekday evenings and/or weekends.

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Extensive experience with investigative procedures and relevant case law regarding Administrative Inquiries, including findings of the United States Federal Court System and Administrative Law Judges, including rulings of the Merit Systems Protection Board, United States Circuit Court of Appeals, United States Supreme Court, and other authorities with jurisdiction regarding matters affecting Administrative Inquiries, Adverse Actions, and associated procedures; conducting investigative inquiries regarding allegations of misconduct amongst personnel, to include both Federal employees and Contractors, that may include serious allegations that involve highly sensitive issues; Exercises sound judgment in applying broad investigative coverage guidelines to individual cases, each of which has a unique set of circumstances, to accomplish the intended purpose within specified time and cost limits; and managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining the accuracy and thoroughness required by policies, laws, and other directives. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1.
