As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.This position is located in the Business Planning and Metrics Team. This Group is the strategic planning arm of the organization.
Duties
The Team Manager uses experience with business planning metrics and applies in-depth knowledge of management and program principles to direct a geographically dispersed staff consisting of senior analysts responsible for leading and/or participate in cross functional teams responsible for conducting historical and predictive trend analysis, integrated products and work activities that directly impact the tactical and strategic objectives of Safety and Technical Training. Directs the work of subordinate employees and/or managers for multiple organizational units/projects/programs and across multiple functions and/or disciplines within a major subdivision. Serves as the integration point for business intelligence across AJI Directorates both at Headquarters and the Field to ensure strategic goals are met and for participating in the strategic planning for the FAA and makes commitments for a major organization. This work directly impacts the safe and efficient operation of Safety and Technical Training and the ATO.

Qualifications
Candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE equivalent to at least the next
lower grade level (FV-J or FG/GS-14) that is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE AT THE NEXT LOWER LEVEL (GS-14/FV-J):Experience leading the preparation of analytics and metrics to develop options for internal management review and decision making.Experience applying project/program management principles to create a resource plan that identifies and implements an organization and structure.You should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
