Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-F level, applicants must demonstrate at least three years of progressively responsible general experience with at least one year equivalent to the FG/GS-4 level. General experience could have been gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative, or other responsible work.To qualify for this position at the FV-G level, applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade level of FV-F, FG/GS-5-9 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience using computer-based database programs to plan, schedule and conduct studies and analyses of management functions or programs.To qualify for this position at the FV-H level, applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade level of FV-G, FG/GS-10-11 in Federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience performing duties independently with responsibility for effective operation and maintenance of technical programs, (i.e. Training, QC, Planning and requirements, and Airspace and procedures), project, policies and procedures. Experience planning, developing, monitoring and executing actions required to manage technical programs.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement. Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.This position may be filled at the FV-F, FV-G or FV-H level. If filled at the FV-F AND FV-G level, this announcement does not constitute a commitment or an obligation on the part of management to promote the employee selected at some future date. Promotion will depend upon the selectee meeting all training, qualification requirements, and recommendation by the supervisor.

Education

Applicants can qualify based on substituting education for experience.

EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION: For the FV-F band, successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, gained from an accredited college or university or, a combination education and experience may be qualifying for this position. EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION: For the FV-G Band, three full years of progressively higher level graduate education or Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree in an accredited college or university. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

There is no education substitution for the H Band.
