Duties
You will serve as the supply technician on matters pertaining to requisition.
You will prepare documents to acquire products, track expenditures to ensure funds are expended in accordance with the parameters established by the funding authority and funds assigned to procurement requests are de-obligated or increased as needed.
You will serve as the Government Purchase Card Holder for the Consolidated Purchasing Department.
You will assist with the management of department warehouse personnel and location to ensure all required license are updated for forklift use.
You will ensure all equipment is kept in compliance with all safety regulations while ensuring the warehouse is kept neat and inventoried at all times.
You will participate in discussions on appropriate method of procurement utilizing the mandatory sources, GCPC, contract or MIPR.
Requirements

- This position is eligible for part time, substantial or ad-hoc telework at the discretion of management.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- May be required to lift or carry items that weigh up to 40 pounds.
- May be required to conduct related work in the warehouse or outside, and shop areas that may be hot, cold, wet, humid, windy, noisy, or poorly lighted. May be exposed to dust, dirt, noxious fumes, and high noise.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift when visiting warehouse areas.
- Must possess and be able to maintain a current valid United States driver’s license; obtain and maintain a valid government driver's license and maintain base driving privileges.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card to make official government purchases for goods and services.
- Must successfully complete mandatory training related to this position.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying standard supply regulations, policies, procedures, principles, concepts, and methodologies applicable to supply functions (i.e. purchasing, receiving, storing, distribution of acquired goods and services, inventory procurement); and utilizing automated supply systems.

Education
You may also meet the minimum qualifications through education and/or combination of education and experience by satisfying one of the following:
Successful completion of four years of education above high school
OR
Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to 1 year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal to 100 percent.
