This INSPECTIONS SPECIALIST (SUPERINTENDENT) is located in an Air National Guard (ANG) Wing Inspector General (IG) Office and is part of the CA 146 AW.
Duties
THIS IS A T5 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION
The primary purpose of the INSPECTIONS SPECIALIST (SUPERINTENDENT), GS-1801-12, is to oversee various complex IG activities, develops policy, and advises the Wing IG on effectively implementing The Inspection System, to include the Commanders' Inspection Programs (CCIP), as well as the Complaints Resolution, and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA) Programs.
Qualifications
INSPECTIONS SPECIALIST (SUPERINTENDENT), GS-1801-12: Must have at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-11 level, or equivalent pay band in other pay systems in the Federal government. This experience may also have been obtained in the private sector, but must demonstrate that it is comparable to the GS grade indicated. Specialized experience may have been demonstrated by: skill in collecting and analyzing data effectively, efficiently, and accurately; knowledge of applicable laws, directives, regulations, policies, and procedures; skill in interpersonal communications, empathy, and effective listening; ability to organize thoughts, research materials, and manage case projects; skill in comprehending and interpreting directives and laws; ability to enunciate without impediment of speech that would interfere or prohibit effective communications; ability to write reports and presentation formats; and ability to communicate -orally and in writing- clearly and effectively.
