This position is located at Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall Bowling Center. This is a Non-appropriated Fund Flexible (Flex) position that does not include NAF Benefits nor guaranteed hours. Duties

Works under general supervision of the Leisure Activities Manager. Provides guests with local information concerning available programs and activities, making individual reservations, answering questions concerning any aspect of operated facilities and providing prompt, courteous service in any area requested. Receives payments, issues receipts as required, documents business transactions through computer posting entries, process retail sales through cash register, ensures proper internal control procedures on key issues. May serve as a facilitator with the children's program providing sports and recreation activities, such as, arts and crafts, hiking, etc. Ensures that activities are conducted in a well-organized and safe manner. May be required to assist with specials events and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2
• Must have or be able to obtain current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification within 6 months of hire.
• Possess and maintain the physical ability to lift and carry 40 pounds, walk, bend and stoop and stand on a routine basis.
• Duties may involve working both indoors and outdoors.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 and a Child Care Tier 1 background investigation is required.
• Must be able to communicate in English (both written and verbal).
