You will serve as ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER of SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD GREAT LAKES N1 DEPARTMENT.

Duties

You will develop, analyze, evaluate, advise on, and recommend improvements to the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, organizations and manpower utilization. You will distribute work assignments, management controls, information and documentations systems, and/or similar functions of management. You will be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing sufficient to provide briefs to all levels of the chain of command, provide instructions and information to employees, and to negotiate changes in current processes. You will have the ability to create, prepare, and present visual aids (charts and graphs). You will analyze and review documentation procedure and controls, files, directives, forms, records control and disposal procedures and office automation. You will manage the Administration Separation process for the Command to include staff and students. You will have knowledge of military command structure, military training mission, and combat systems training programs. You will have knowledge of Navy directives, correspondence, and personnel records management, Navy awards programs, all administrative military programs, principles, concepts, methodology, and compliance with all military regulations is required.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, analyzing, evaluating, advise on, and recommend improvements to the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, organizations, manpower utilization, distribution of work assignments, management controls, information and documentations systems, and/or similar functions of management; 2) Managing the administration separation process for the command to include staff and students; and 3) Utilizing knowledge of military command structure, military training mission, and combat systems training programs.
