Duties
You will execute the acquisition of hardware and software required by laboratories.
You will complete required research on requested items to ensure items fall within the Navy policy guidelines
You will communicate and collaborate with all internal and external customers prior to execution of procurement to validate the requirement meets procurement policy.
You will review and analyze operational reports and plans, work schedules, planned requirements, and other data to determine and advise on compatibility of planned support programs.
You will perform required research and validation of laboratory software to ensure authorized use on Information Systems.
You will research and input for IT procurements for planning and visibility and ensures IT procurements comply with the Department of Defense (DOD) and Department of Navy (DON) statutory and regulatory requirements.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the 05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing tasks required to execute the acquisition of hardware and software; 2) Researching requested items to ensure items fall within policy; 3) Planning for and determining current and future supply requirements to meet customer needs; 4) Communicating and collaborating with all internal and external customers prior to execution of procurement to validate the requirement meets procurement policy.

For GS-07: Successfully completed 1 full year of graduate level education.
OR
Successfully completed a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement (S.A.A.)
