Job opening: Supply Systems Analyst

Salary: $69 107 - 89 835 per year

About the Position: Employees work a 4/10 work week, Mon-Thurs, 0630-1700 hrs. Youth Facilities and daily child care available. The depot serves as an Army Expeditionary Logistical Support Center, (Mass transportation is available at minimal cost.)

Duties

Analyzes and evaluates the information requirements of the customer's scope of work, routes, and bills of material, requisition status, and depot and command schedules in support of all direct funded work. Build customer demand briefings. Update program information papers, command briefings, status of various programs, workload forecast analysis, budget submissions, and budget execution.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Temporary Duty Travel, TDY may be required up to 5% of the time.
  • This position has a Data Analytics (DA) requirement. The incumbent must meet all requirements for DA level one (1) certification within 12 months of being placed on the position.
  • Temporary promotions may be extended up to a maximum of five years and may be made permanent without further competition.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes1) Analyzing methods, procedures and practices employed to recommend improvements of organizational supply procedures and/or policies; 2) Conducting research of records, reports and functional statements to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and economy of operations; and 3) Preparing special reports and schedules related to supply functions based on automated data-processing (ADP) techniques. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business / Communication / Supply Chain Management OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Manages and Organizes InformationOperating SystemsProblem SolvingSupply Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
