About the Position: These positions are located at Army Medical Center, Darnall, Direct of Resource Management, Fort Cavazos, TX.

Duties

Maintain and assist in the operation of the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPS) Customer Service Representative (CSR) functions. Provide payroll liaison services with appropriate budget offices and local Civilian Personnel Advisory Center (CPAC) providing support to the activities. Provide technical assistance to command timekeepers regarding the operations of the Automated Time and Attendance Production System (ATAAPS) and the on-line DCPS. Maintain and manage automated and manual systems for receiving and processing DCPS reports and documents received from Defense Payroll Office, Indianapolis. Process remedy tickets for all pay problems, such as for retirement, settlement inquiries, special pay, Standard Form (SF) 1150, tax inquiry, W-2 reissues, accounting vouchers, debt audit, pay audit, etc.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This is a DOD Financial Management position. The incumbent must complete training and meet position requirements for certification at Level 2 within 2 years of appointment. Failure to obtain and maintain certification may result in adverse action.
