Duties
You will inspect, test, certify, maintain, repair, replace, modify, relocate, and install backflow prevention assemblies for all buildings, facilities and plumbing and piping systems.
You will inspect, maintain, repair, replace, modify, relocate, test, and install all building and facility plumbing and piping systems, equipment, fixtures, instruments, valves, components, and other associated equipment.
You will check and inspect equipment for proper operation, maintenance, repair, or replacement at required intervals per applicable technical manual.
You will adjust, repair, unclog, or replace leaky joints, faucets, commodes, urinals, and drains, and other outlets as required to maintain proper and efficient operation of all related plumbing and piping systems.
You will maintain and repair wall mounted water coolers/drinking fountains in a safe, sanitary, and serviceable condition, ensuring that the water flow is unobstructed, the water is potable, and at the temperature intended by the manufacturer.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You will be required to possess and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current Backflow Testers certification.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You will be required to lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment that weigh up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications
