You will serve as an DEPUTY FIRE CHIEF in the Fire and Emergency Services of NAS JRB FT WORTH.
Duties
You will assist the Fire Chief in the accomplishment of Fire Department duties and mission.
You will assist the preparation of the Fire Department Budget and maintain accurate accounting records.
You will supervise and train subordinate supervisors utilizing expert knowledge of fire prevention and protection.
You will review and ensure technical accuracy of all reportable fire reports, including those performed by subordinate Fire Officers.
You will create, oversee and ensure submittal of quarterly and annual installation awards and CNRSE/Navy-level awards.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-10 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Leading everyday operations of assigned shifts providing guidance on fire department related procedures, expenses and personnel matters, 2) Applying expert knowledge in managing fire prevention and protection programs, 3) Assisting in fire protection and prevention training for the fire department, 4) Leading multi-company and/or multi-jurisdictional and interdisciplinary operations from incident/event operations centers, 5) Present information verbal and in writing in a clear, grammatically correct, concise, and convincing manner for each intended audience.

This position REQUIRES the incumbent to possess the following certifications for this position: Fire Officer IV, Fire Inspector II, Fire Instructor II, and NREMT. These certifications must have been awarded by DoD, IFSAC or ProBoard to meet the requirement.
