About the position: This position will be assigned to the Community Services Flight.
This position is considered regular part time. You are guaranteed 20 hours, however, could work up to 40 hours.
As a regular employee you are eligible to earn leave and other NAF Benefits.
Duties
Prepares bank deposits and ensures daily deposits are submitted to Resource Management.
Responsible for tip reporting to include issuing daily cash tips to employees at the end of the day/shift and tracking through the labor management system time clock.
Prepares cash reports and notifies supervisor of any suspected irregularities.
Ensures the proper accounting for charge cards, sales slips, and checks are included within the daily cashier's report.
Assists management with budgets, analyzes financial results to include performing daily reports of operations.
Assists manager with Services Employee Timekeeping System (SETS) records.
Monitors and manages accounts receivables for special functions and invoices customers as needed.
Responsible for updating all cost cards for food and beverage operations to make sure overall operations are meeting Air Force Services goals.
Knowledge of Aloha software food service program.
Purchases supplies and equipment.
Maintains order entries and invoices and ensures all bills are paid.
Assists food service workers and bartenders with setting up for special functions.

Qualifying Experience:
Must have experience which provides knowledge of food and beverage operations.
Must also possess experience which provides knowledge of cash handling procedures and sales operations such as: receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and use of cash accountability control methods.
Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
