This position ls a Clinical Psychologist position located at the Blackfeet Service Unit. Behavioral Health Department. Incumbent is a credentialed/voting member of the Medical Staff, holding assigned clinical responsibilities primarily within the following areas: providing comprehensive psychological assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals across the full developmental spectrum: psychological testing as needed.
Duties
Provides full range of psychological services including evaluation, diagnosis, referral, psychotherapy, crisis intervention and specialized treatment modalities for mental health problems of adults, adolescents and families. Provides consultation to wide variety of hospital staff on mental health issues. Enter patient information into the electronic health record system.
Provides crisis interventions services to residents with a wide variety of acute mental health problems.
Administers and interprets psychological test including intelligence, projective, organicity, MMPI
Consults with schools, courts, state social services and other organizations to assess mental health problems or issues.
Qualifications

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

In addition, to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below-
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: work as a psychologist in a mental health setting clinic or hospital while providing psychological evaluations, delivering therapeutic mental health treatment modalities for patients. Provide consultation, collaboration and follow up. Assist and refer patients with acute, chronic or severe mental illnesses and dual diagnosis patient populations. Use an electronic health records for patients.
AND
SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR: Possess an active, current, unrestricted, state license as Clinical Psychology.
Time In Grade (Merit Promotion Candidates Only)
Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
