This position is located in the Division of Information Technology, Chief Information Officer Organization, Application Platforms and Delivery Branch, Washington DC of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides application solutions to enable efficient business operations and drive business agility.

Duties
Serves as a SCRUM Master to coordinate project management activities for systems development and maintenance projects. This may include utilizing best practices and encouraging standardization, SCRUM coaching, participating in planning and scope definition, managing tasks, monitoring budgets, monitoring and reporting progress, setting priorities and adjusting schedules, and managing emergency situations.
Monitors contractor performance, reviewing and evaluating contractor deliverables, and reviewing contractor invoices.
Develops contractual documentation (Statements of Work (SOWs) and Statements of Objectives for acquisition of IT systems, equipment, and services required for the project.
Develops, coding, configuration, integration, testing, and automation of software and database components.
Performs in-depth studies on subjects of interest to the Corporation and writing position papers recommending corporation policies.
Leads teams in delivering Products in an Agile DevSecOps methodology.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: leading application software development teams using Agile software development life cycle methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.)
You must have Information Technology (IT)-related experience which demonstrates proficiency in each of the following competencies:
