The selectee of this position serves as a Program Support Specialist. You will be responsible for maintaining and implementing internal controls for all program areas. In the absence of the AO, serves as district's primary point of contact for administrative functions.
Duties
As a Program Support Specialist at the GS-0301-12 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
Working closely with the Administrative Officer (AO) on implementing processes for providing administrative services for the district's main and/or sub-office(s);
Analyzing the district's financial obligations and expenditures to ensure compliance with USMS policies and procedures;
Providing advice and assistance to management on HR matters and/or issues;
Providing oversight of the property management program; and
Assuring contractors are performing projects that have quality and timeliness measures in place.

Qualifications
GS-12 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-11 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-12 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
You may qualify at the GS-0301-12 level, if you fulfill The following qualifications:
Possess at least one year (12 months) of full-time specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade GS-11 in the Federal Service performing duties which include at least three (3) of the following: 1) providing oversight of office administrative services in order to investigate, evaluate and resolve a variety of problems and/or conditions; 2) monitoring a budget to ensure that funds are obligated; 3) compiling, reviewing and analyzing report data for completeness and accuracy; 4) serving as a liaison between management and the human resources office in order to provide advice and assistance on HR matters; and 5) monitoring, and/or approving, and controlling accountable government equipment, material, and supplies.

Education
Applicants may not qualify for this position based on education in lieu of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level.
