This position is located in the Property & Supply department of the Pine Ridge Service Unit. The incumbent performs duties of a technical nature involving the management of store stock supplies, direct issue supplies, and equipment assets. The department administers a program for analyzing, distributing, replenishing, monitoring, determining requirements, accounting, and performing financial cost-out type activities.

Duties

Reviews and analyzes automated data processing reports, transaction registers, and voucher summary reports. Conducts physical supply and equipment inventories and makes adjustments as needed. Initiates, prepares, edits and processes requisitions for stock replenishment. Operates personal computers to perform records research, data input and data corrections/additions/deletions to maintain an accurate supply management system.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: GS-05: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: maintaining inventory, stock and/or property account reports; preparing pick list and receiving reports; and receiving supplies through automated systems. GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Utilizing the electronic inventory management system (M-system) or similar automated system for ordering and receiving supplies, reviews orders to ensure correct quantities of supplies ordered. GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment; experience conducting extensive searches for required information; reconstruction records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, or parts. Time In Grade Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP). You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
