You will serve as an Acquisition Program Specialist in the Corporate Operations Department of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER.
Duties
You will be responsible for planning, evaluating, analyzing, and monitoring of Southwest Regional Maintenance Center's (SWRMC) Services contracts.
You will monitor and analyze annual contract funding requirements and budget.
You will monitor contractors for contract performance and compliance and prepare written documentation to Contracting Officer on discrepancies.
You will witness, inspect and interpret various aspects of the contract by the contractor to ensure contract specifications are adhered to.
You will be responsible for developing the procurement package (pre-award) deliverables in accordance with SWRMC's services procurement administrative lead time.
You will apply working knowledge of how various contracts operate to I determine the most cost-effective options.
You will participate in the Service Requirements Review Board and post-award conferences.
You will establishe and prepare manning objectives.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position requires the ability to work onboard ships.
Qualifications
For the GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing contractor performance and reviewing acquisition packages to ensure compliance with requirements, terms and conditions of contracts in support of a contract management program.
For the GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting with the preparation of acquisition packages and identifying compliance issues in order to elevate recommendations in support of a contract management program.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
For the GS-11:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
OR
Successful completion of 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree;
OR
Possession of an LL.M., if related to the position being filled;
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
For the GS-09:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree;
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree;
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled;
