This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Supervision and Policy, Large Bank Supervision Branch of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides exam support for the Division’s large bank supervision program.

Duties
Under the general direction of the Associate Director, Large Bank Supervision Branch, the incumbent performs a variety of duties to achieve the objectives of the Division's large bank supervision program.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-13: Applicant must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing, reviewing, monitoring and analyzing functions in a financial arena utilizing financial institution supervisory and examination methods and assisting in the preparation of reports, loan grading reviews and operational risk tracking systems to ensure proper controls and integrity.
CG-14: Applicant must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade 13 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing, reviewing, monitoring and analyzing functions in a financial arena utilizing financial institution supervisory and examination methods; identifying emerging issues/trends; and representing management on interagency/International working groups.
All applicants must be a commissioned risk examiner in the FDIC or have commissioning by another organization with comparable commissioning criteria to that used by the FDIC’s Division of Risk Management Supervision.
