You will serve as a Intelligence Specialist at the GG-14 grade level responsible for applying broad knowledge of intelligence research and collections capabilities and programs to effectively collect, interpret, and evaluate intelligence requirements for the Research and Development Support Activity (RDSA).
Duties
You will be responsible for overseeing and performing intelligence analysis and production related to pre-mission, post-mission and special intelligence collection operations.
You will communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively both orally and in writing and represents Mission Planning and Analysis Center (MPAC) position when necessary.
You will serve as Team Lead and Production Manager on various special projects and ensures that coordination and production timelines are met.
You will develop new requirements that promote innovative analytical capabilities development for both in-office and at-sea applications, sometimes requiring travel and time at sea.
You will Initiate and maintain liaison with high-level intelligence professionals from the U.S. Intelligence Community, DoD, external and foreign partners and private industry to discuss mutual intelligence problems, issues, and production efforts.
You will lead discussions involve exchange of facts and explanations of analytical points and theories about which there is sometimes disagreement--the intent being to gain concurrence, cooperation, or persuasion.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- This position may be subject to polygraph examination.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:
Produce a variety of written and oral products ranging from information and technical briefings, analyses, assessments, studies, automated and manual databases, and evaluations regarding imagery/acoustic data.
Identifying intelligence gaps and recommends specific collection capabilities to address closing of those gaps.
Perform analysis and production tasks relative to operations in order to effectively manage the planning and requirements process for research and development projects.
Review emerging technologies, trends, and methodologies in order to ensure that intelligence production remains current, efficient, and relevant.
