About the Position: The Supply Systems Analyst administers the Medical Care Support Equipment (MEDCASE)/Capital Expense Equipment (CEEP) program for the Lyster Army Health Clinic campus. This position is a temporary appointment, not to exceed 1 year.
Duties
Enter medical supply data into Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) logistics system.
Coordinate with hospital staff requiring medical supply assistance.
Analyze financial data related to the hospitals medical supply activity.
Resolve issues that arise during supply administration process.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a favorable result from a National Agency Background Check.
- This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience and/or education requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes processing medical supplies in accordance with established guidelines; utilizing logistics management systems for tracking supply data; coordinating with supply staff to fulfill medical supply actions; resolving issues related to supply activity. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: supply chain management or logistics.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
