Duties
You will perform full range of plumbing tasks including installing, modifying, and repairing new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems and equipment.
You will plan and complete the work from initial layout to final assembly or installation.
You will determine the method, techniques, devices and materials that are best suited to the surface finish required.
You will install, modify, repair, troubleshoot (tracing and locating defects), loads and tests new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, fixtures, controls and equipment.
You will apply a variety of methods, procedures, and techniques to install, maintain, repair various types of general industrial plant machinery and equipment.
You will perform welding trade as required for the repair, maintenance or construction of project equipment and fixtures.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.
- This position is mission essential, and employee may be recalled to duty.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift license and aerial lift license within 6 months of employment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an A/C mechanic certification within 6 months of employment.
- This position requires employee to wear a respirator and receive annual training.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- The position often requires irregular hours.
- This position requires rotating shift work.
- This position requires evening and weekend work.
