Duties
You will apply maintenance and supply support knowledge to difficult and complex assignments such as planning and conducting work that requires significant judgment in evaluating, selecting, adapting precedents and modifying procedures.
You will serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert on equipment and serves on fielding teams.
You will work with Marine Corps Systems Command Logistics Management Specialist in executing sustainment functions for systems and equipment.
You will review and provide comments on technical documents from Original Equipment Manufacturer and other agencies.
You will develop and present convincing oral/written presentations and briefings to all levels of government and industry management as a recognized authority regarding assigned programs.
Requirements

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-2 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: interpreting and analyzing characteristics, properties, and uses of equipment in order to provide technical guidance on operations, maintenance, and support of the equipment to the program operators and maintainers.
