This position is located in the National Defense Reserve Fleet (NDRF), Office of Ship Operations, Office of the Associate Administrator for National Security, Maritime Administration (MARAD).
The National Defense Reserve Fleet (NDRF) is the anchorage site for numerous laid-up of merchant and military ships of all types and designs that are maintained according to their assigned status in an appropriate seaworthy condition.

- You must meet specialized experience to qualify.

Qualifications
Qualifications for the position are based on the training, experience, or other requirements that determine which applicants would be able to perform satisfactorily in the position to be filled.
To qualify for the WG-07, your experience should include experience equal or equivalent to the following:
The ability to perform inspections, maintenance, and preservation of vessels' hull and topside coatings, including regular inspection of shipboard coatings.
The ability to operate various controls and levers to maneuver equipment, and lift/lower, adjust, engage/disengage components or attached devices.
