About the Position: Serves as an Information Assurance/Cybersecurity certification specialist or systems security analyst in accordance with the Army Regulation (AR) 25-2, Information Assurance and other statutory and regulatory requirements. Performs a variety of information assurance/Cybersecurity tasks.

Duties

Provide information systems security analysis or certification/validation to Command Enterprise level projects. Conduct detailed information assurance assessments of systems ranging in size from stand-alone systems to Systems spanning the Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN). Analyze vulnerabilities to determine risks to the system and the DoDIN, considering system development and operational environments, threats, and vulnerabilities. Analyze data and prepares recurring progress/status reports and exception/problem reports, to ensure that all concerned parties are notified of project status and problem areas. Conduct and participate in in-progress reviews (IPRs), technical working groups (TWGs), and meetings to resolve specific problems. Serve as information security technical advisor and consultant. Act as an action officer for the Cybersecurity division. Provide input to the development of acquisition requirements packages and follow through to point of award. Evaluation contractor deliverables and performance to ensure they are consistent with contract requirements.
