You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND of MARINE CORPS LOGISTICS COMMAND.

Duties
You will develop, monitor, and coordinate Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans that fully and directly support the activities of item introduction and sustainment technical data support for assigned equipment/systems throughout its life cycle.
You will research and provide supporting data and coordinate logistics support requirements and methodologies for assigned equipment/systems.
You will provide and maintain documentation on issues/problems encountered for use in reports, briefings, and planning sessions.
You will evaluate progress in attaining ILS objectives with emphasis on configuration status accounting services and item introduction and identification technical data.
You will monitor expenditures and projects cost changes.
Requirements

- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position requires a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) check to be completed on any person selected for this position. You must be willing and able to submit to a SCHR check.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluate integrated logistics support management principles, concepts and methodology for the life cycle requirements of combat or weapon systems and/or equipment to ensure fleet readiness.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify for the position based on education. Education obtained must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. To qualify based on education, applicant must possess:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.M., if related
