About the Position: Crane Army Ammunition Activity (CAAA) mission statement: To receive, store, ship, produce, renovate and demilitarize conventional ammunition, missiles and related components to meet contingency requirements in support of the warfighter.

Duties

Execute a variety of engineering activities to improve the industrial processes and equipment. Coordinate assignments for manufacturing as well as ammunition logistics operations. Determine the required actions to resolve complex and/or critical process problems. Prepare and performs the organic industrial base equipment modernization including processes for munitions production, transportation, storage, and demilitarization. Manage difficult and unusual problems where guides and precedents are lacking. Please limit your resume to 5 pages. Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
  • The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles and must possess and maintain installation driving privileges.
  • One year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
