Duties
Serves as Network Engineer responsible for administration and operational support for network technologies including documentation, configuration, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance as well as rotating 24/7 on call support. Candidate will work with functional groups and vendors to assess technologies, develop technical solutions for our environment, document and execute deployments and approved changes.

Qualifications
Bachelor¿s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline plus three (3) years of related experience; OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above; OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Two (2) years demonstrated experience with wired network solutions in a medium to large organization including design, configuration, deployment, operation, monitoring and troubleshooting.Demonstrates working knowledge of Cisco ISE, Prime and DNAC; Cisco CCNA certification preferred. Ability to apply Configuration Management knowledge and discipline. Experience with documenting networks via spreadsheets, diagrams, and systems. Ability to learn beyond formal training with a strong aptitude for delivering quality architectures. Demonstrates ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate abstract concepts in verbal, written and visual formats. Strong ability to understand client expectations and ability to resolve issues that may affect delivery. Basic knowledge and understanding of UNIX, MS Windows, Android and associated environmental technologies.As an authorized and privileged user of Department of Defense Information Systems, candidate must possess or receive Information Assurance awareness by completing the Security+ Certification as a condition of access within six months of employment, and thereafter must complete annual Information Assurance awareness training.Eligible for incremental telework as determined by MR/MF policy.
