About the Position: This position is with G-1, Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA), AMC Services Human Resources Directorate, Joint Munition Command Civilian Human Resources Service Center located at Tooele, Utah.

Duties

Coordinates job offers with all interested personnel to ensure all pre-employment requirements are met. Uses office automation and various software programs to produce a variety of correspondence and reports. Assists selectees with the pre-employment process to ensure all requirements are completed. Reviews personnel records to ensure file folders contain the correct documentation and are complete and accurate in accordance with regulations, policies, and procedures. Responds to inquiries on human resources programs such as employee benefits ensure employees, customers, and supervisors are aware of processes and procedures.

OR Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages. GS 06 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying standardized human resources (HR) rules, procedures, and operations to accomplish support within the organization; providing support to HR specialists in various areas of the organization; utilizing office automation to prepare, extract, revise and sort HR documents and information. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05) Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. GS 07 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes the application of Human Resources regulations and guidance, processing personnel actions, applying knowledge of civilian HR rules, procedures, and technical methods; Utilizing HR database systems to query, retrieve, and analyze information; and responding to a variety of requests for information from customers.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06) Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Education
