Duties

Responsible for all contractual actions and phases of the program including initial planning, requirements definition, advanced and engineering development, etc. Conduct market research related to acquisition; compile reports, interpret, implementing, formulating, and disseminating contracting policy guidance. Responsible for pre-solicitation activities and contract awards; verifying sole source justifications; conducting cost/price analysis and providing price guidance. Communicate and ensure the agency’s strategic plans, mission, vision, and values are integrated into the team’s strategies, goals, and objectives. Research and apply a variety of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, analyze and improve team effectiveness, efficiency, and work products. Provide contracting officer support to claims, requests for equitable adjustment, and alternative dispute resolution matters.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• This position may require travel up to 10%.
• This position requires the ability to obtain, maintain, and exercise a warrant at an initial value of $50M or greater up to Unlimited within 24-months of entry on duty.
• Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, (OGE-450), upon entry and annually thereafter.
• This is a Defense Acquisition Workforce (AWF) position.
• Foundational Career Level Certification or Contracting Professional Certification must be met within 3-years.
• Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET Security Clearance.
