This position is located in the Department of Program Services, Case Management and Systems Office, Federal Judiciary Digital Services Division. The incumbent will serve as the Senior Technical Delivery Lead will assist in the operations and oversight of new products, intake of court developed products, early adopter efforts and Product Operations Maintenance and Delivery efforts.
Duties
The Senior Technical Delivery Lead takes ownership of internal and external customer's needs, serves as a team lead, and works with other DPS business offices to ensure effective implementation of product pilots, product launches and related projects. The Senior Technical Delivery Lead supports the delivery of operational excellence at every stage of the product implementation / roll out process and utilizes tools to record business activities and related communications. While this position leads a team and mentors other staff members, it does not include supervisory responsibilities, such as conducting annual performance reviews.
As a critical thinker and expert collaborator, this role supports the organization's strategic plan by helping to ensure the achievement of program targets, planning, and facilitating internal and external meetings, representing the office on projects, and supporting, contributing to, and implementing organization initiatives.
Duties of the position include, but are not limited to:
Working and leading across various product teams to identify and implement staffing and business processes to efficiently transition products from design - delivery stage to implementation stage, and mentoring personnel as needed.
Working with operations managers to proactively manage pilots and early adopter efforts and identify system improvements.
Serving as the primary representative for the product operations leadership and product implementation team and executing with minimal instruction/oversight.
Managing implementation, coordination with others, and forward solutioning to ensure that deadlines are met.
Serving as a coordinator to manage multiple complex projects concurrently. Understanding how all the pieces come together and ensuring that everything is accomplished.
Communicating effectively to keep cross-functional teams informed.
Crafting meaningful documentation maintained for replicability in the future, and leading retirement and sunsetting of products.
Executing solutions, such as creation of resources (internal/external). Processing documentation and developing checklists/resources for consistency.
Developing internal policies and procedures, as needed for implementation. Identifying trends and proactively resolving problems.
Identifying improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reduce product delivery risk.
Training and reporting.
Conducting staff education regarding new and evolving products; processing improvement examples and resulting policies and procedures.
Conducting onboarding and training/reporting of existing staff.
Facilitating meetings and conducting training as part of pilots; Performing ad hoc reporting responsibilities.
Qualifications
Applicants must have demonstrated experience as listed below. This requirement is according to the AO Classification, Compensation, and Recruitment Systems which include interpretive guidance and reference to the OPM Operating Manual for Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions.
Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which is in or directly related to the line of work of this position. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience defining business needs and implementing products and services and new technology.
Desired, but not required: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:

3-5 years project management/operational management
