Joining the Secret Service, Multimedia Operations Branch, Office of Investigations will allow you to provide forensic support to the Secret Service and outside law enforcement agencies in the areas of image and audio enhancement, speaker identification and crime scene documentation. Duties

The selectee will serve as a Supervisory Multimedia Specialist in the Office of Investigations. Typical work assignments include: Collaborating with the Visual Arts Manager on the formulation of short- and long-range Branch plans, goals, and objectives. Evaluating the effectiveness of operations Directorate-wide in terms of mission accomplishment, quality and quantity standards, procedural policy, and technical standards. Providing advice and coordination, and approval for all formats of public information and communication actions, correspondence, and materials to ensure quality and consistency of all such efforts. Ensuring that all geospatial mapping and analytics products are reviewed for accuracy and all 3D modeling projects adhere to established standards. Ensuring that all multimedia and video products are reviewed for accuracy and adhere to established standards.

Qualifications

You qualify for the GS-14 level (starting salary $132,368.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-13 level performing the following duties: Leading video and multimedia projects to meet organizational initiatives and priorities; Serving as a subject matter expert on the utilization of communications media (multimedia, video, audio, voice and modeling and/or simulation services) to engage stakeholders; Working on resource requirements, plans and issues involved in operating a multimedia program; and Overseeing the work of subordinate staff (i.e. assigning work, developing performance standards, making authoritative decisions regarding personnel actions, etc.). NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible. All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.
