Duties

- The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a multi-source intelligence analyst engaging in the complex technical analysis and production of information obtained and processed from one or more intelligence sources in support of customer requirements. Provides/enables integrated intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities to collect, process, exploit, and disseminate accurate and timely information that provides the battle space awareness necessary to combatant commanders and other customers to successfully plan/conduct operations. - Serves as a multi-source intelligence analyst on complex technical analysis and production. - Presents ISR capabilities to a variety of service, national, and coalition customers. - Conducts complex analysis of multi-source intelligence. - Manages intelligence production. - Serves as a functional authority on ISR issues for Agency leadership

• All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance with special sensitivity designation. A non disclosure agreement must be signed.

Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Group coverage qualification standard for Administrative and Management Positions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess experience at the next lower qualifying pay band or equivalent grade under the General Schedule (GS/GG) pay system or other pay systems, demonstrating quality in the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies to meet the requirements of this position. Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and ability to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by knowledge of the interplay of geographical, political, military, economic, and industrial forces in various regions of the world as well as intelligence and RTP threat entities, operations, and capabilities that may be directed against USAF, DoD and other US resources. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency. Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detailed analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources, to include database manipulation. 3. Knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations, and mission/functions, inter-relationships and operations. 4. Skill in conducting unbiased complex research, identifying appropriate available systems/data sources, and producing collection requirement assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities in support of consumers, customers, and clients. 5. Skill in communicating effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations to senior level audiences for decision-making purposes. 6. Ability to maintain control of classified material, quickly assimilate disparate data, render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implication of such data, and make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment and experience and present and/or defend a position effectively. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge and skills that can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
