About the Position: This position serves as an Administrative Technician (OA) for the US Army Engineering & Support Center, Huntsville.

Duties

Provide administrative support in obtaining and analyzing information or material from files and office records Perform office management by receiving telephone calls, maintain calendars, compose and review correspondence. Perform support services in identifying, reviewing, and coordinating administrative functions such as time and attendance; training travel and minor purchases. Provide clerical support in creating reports and studies by using office automation equipment and software; proficient in systems such as CEFMS, Microsoft outlook, and required to perform duties.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • A qualified typist is required. You must be able to type 40 words per minute with 3 or fewer errors based on a 5 minute test.
