Duties
(1) Administrative Support Assistant,GS-0303-6/7, with DWORSHAK NATIONAL FISH HATCHERY COMPLEX in OROFINO, ID
This position serves as the Administrative Assistant (AA) for Dworshak and Kooskia National Fish Hatcheries (NFHs), supporting a cooperative working relationship between the Nez Perce Tribe, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the Lower Snake River Compensation Plan. The duty station for this position is at Dworshak National Fish Hatchery in Orofino, ID, which is located in scenic, forested mountains of North Central Idaho along the Clearwater River. The AA is a critical member off our team and is responsible for time and attendance, travel support, fleet reporting, property inventory, purchasing, credit card reconciliation, and onboarding new employees within the Complex.
GS-6 Salary Range: $42,022 to $54,625 per year
GS-7 Salary Range: $46,696 to $60,703 per year

(1) Administrative Support Assistant,GS-0303-6/7, with COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE NATIONAL FISH HATCHERY COMPLEX in UNDERWOOD, WA
The Columbia River Gorge National Fish Hatchery Complex is composed of six National Fish Hatcheries. The facilities are geographically dispersed in Oregon and Washington. The duty station for this position is at Spring Creek National Fish Hatchery in Underwood, WA, in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. The Administrative Assistant (AA) is a critical member of our team and is responsible for time and attendance, travel support, fleet reporting, housing, property inventory, purchases, credit card reconciliation, and onboarding new employees for the Complex.
GS-6 Salary Range: $45,080 to $58,601 per year
GS-7 Salary Range: $50,094 to $65,122 per year
PCS: No PCS entitlements authorized

(1) Administrative Support Assistant,GS-0303-6/7, with PUGET SOUND/OLYMPIC PENINSULA COMPLEX in LACEY, WA
The Puget Sound Olympic Peninsula Complex (PSOP) is composed of three National Fish Hatcheries (Quilcene, Quinault, and Makah) and the Western Washington Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office (WWFWCO). The facilities are geographically dispersed across the Washington State Olympic Peninsula. The duty station for this position is at the main PSOP office located in Lacey, WA (co-located with WWFWCO) with travel time to the hatcheries ranging from 1.5 hours to nearly 5 hours. The PSOP Administrative Assistant (AA) works as a member of our team and is responsible for time and travel support and completing tasks / assisting the Administrative Officer with agreements, contracts, fleet reporting, property inventory, purchases, credit card reconciliation, and onboarding new employees for the Complex.
GS-6 Salary Range: $46,736 to $60,753 per year
GS-7 Salary Range: $51,934 to $67,514 per year
PCS: Yes, entitlements for payment of basic moving expenses, as required and to the extent allowed by the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) 302-3.101, are authorized for eligible applicants changing duty station when the change meets the distance tests as provided in FTR 302-1.1 and 302-2.6. All moving expenses are taxable. In addition, relocation discretionary entitlements May be authorized for this position excluding contractor-provided home sale.

Minimum Qualification [GS-6]
One year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-5 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). Qualifying experience may include: (1) reviewing organizational funds or financial data to ensure accuracy; (2) assisting in procuring supplies, equipment, or services in accordance with regulation / policy; (3) providing administrative support services (e.g., timekeeping; filing; preparing forms, documents, and correspondence); (4) responding to procedural questions from the public.
Minimum Qualification [GS-7]
One year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility equivalent to the GS-6 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors). Qualifying experience may include: (1) reviewing organizational funds or financial data to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies; (2) analyzing funding requirements; (3) procuring supplies, equipment, or services in accordance with regulation / policy, and preparing and submitting payment packets; (4) providing administrative support services (e.g., timekeeping; preparing and reviewing travel vouchers; preparing and monitoring personnel actions); (5) preparing oral briefings and/or written reports for management on financial or administrative matters.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
