Duties

Assist with the operation of the pool. Oversees the work of assigned lifeguards and monitors compliance with facility policies. Assists with scheduling of employees. Responsible for assisting in the conduct of aquatic swimming and water survival training according to tC21-21. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Continuous exposure to sun and prolonged periods of high temperature and humidity.
• Satisfactorily completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 which may also require to compete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally controlled facilities.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 to include a medical examination.
• Incumbent is required to follow environmental safeguards and wear personal protective equipment.
• Availability to work weekends, weekdays, holidays and night hours. 1200-1900(M-F) (1200-1900 Weekends).

Qualifications

Qualifications: 1. American Red Cross "Lifeguard" certification or nationally recognized equivalent (i.e. Ellis & Associates Lifeguard Certification). 2. American Red Cross "Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional Rescuer" (CPR-Pro) certification or nationally recognized equivalent (i.e. Ellis & Associates (CPR) Certification). These certificates must be reflected on your resume and can be uploaded at the time of application to be considered eligible for this position. This position is a Flexible (Flex) position and there are 0 guaranteed hours per week. Flex employees are not entitled to leave or benefits however, there is no upper limit to the number of hours a flexible employee may work (subject to overtime obligation and work scheduling requirements).
